My biggest teacher, my beloved dog, Robin!

My biggest teacher, my beloved dog, Robin!

Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness.
— Maya Angelou

I am so thrilled to share some original music with you! Nada Yoga, the yoga of sound, has always played a significant role in my yoga practice and teaching. Chanting mantra ( from root “manas”-mind and “tra”- tool) helps connect me to my highest self; through sound vibration, we create resonant energy that ignites powerful prana throughout the body, and brings forth our collective consciousness.

Sound vibration is powerful. Often, hearing a familiar song elicits deep nostalgia or a forgotten memory. I’ve found solace in music my entire life, and love to share my passion for it in the classroom. My playlists are curated specifically to elevate your sensory experience. I want you to feel taken on a journey, from beginning to end, breath to movement, cerebral to visceral. Love a song you hear in class? Please visit the Spotify link at the bottom of this page to follow me and stay up to date on my weekly compilations!
